- i ran across a nifty little tool to generate custom base layouts based on blueprint css, so i wanted to see how it'd do as a starting point for a cmsms template. this is the initial results.
only the bare minimum css is included to get the content on the page where it belongs (and virtually all of that is unmodified blueprint css). a custom stylesheet for cmsms changes added.
a couple features were added by me for cmsms:
choose location of sidebar, left or right, or get rid of it completely (main content will expand to fill the layout)... customizable per page using a single template.
auto insert page title to main content block if the content block doesn't start with a div or heading; which are likely indicators that it exists in page content already or you're doing something 'special' on a page where you probably don't want a textual page title displayed.
this is based on blueprint css framework... specifically, it is a two column by 5 row (three in the header) layout based on 12 grids (not 24) within a 940px container. read up on blueprint if you didn't understand that last sentence. ;)
tested on cmsms 1.7.1 running on windows xampp 1.7.3 with php 5.3.1, and firefox 3.6 and ie8 browsers.

it should be fairly easy to add your graphics, text and menu styles. people have asked for more bare templates that are easy to customize, so here ya go!
